Trauma Informed Bilateral Drawing and Mandala

An invitation to school counsellors and teachers to participate in these gentle trauma informed art therapy exercises, guided beautifully by Jane Daisley-Snow. At the time of recording, Jane was an art therapist with the Blue Knot Foundation. She guides us through two body regulatory exercises; the bilateral drawing/squiggles and a mandala.

Pop on some gentle background music, find some paper and pencils/crayons/pastels and allow 15 minutes of self-reflection time, as you experiment alongside Jane and listen to the language of the unconscious unravel as you draw.
