Emotions Bingo!
If children can name their feeling, they are more likely to own it and attend to it.
If we can name it, we can reduce the confusion.
So, building our children’s capacity around feelings will benefit them.
Some children are unicorns and they are adaptable and flexible. Other children might find it more difficult to self soothe and may have higher reactivity. Others may experience sensory challenges.
The concept of nurture attends to how these little people are raised. Our emotions are activated by our environment and tell us messages about unmet needs.
